The Association of Academic Health Sciences Library (AAHSL) Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Annual Meeting. While they are held in conjunction, the programs are completely separate. The AAHSL Annual Meeting Education Program will take place on October 28 at 3:00 pm EST and the Matheson Lecture will take place on November 4 at 3:00 pm EST.

AAHSL invites everyone to join us for the 2021 Education Program and Matheson Lecture. For those not affiliated with an AAHSL institution and who wish to attend only the Matheson Lecture, please RSVP to the lecture only in the registration form.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests received on or before Monday, October 4 2021, will be issued a refund less a $15 processing fee. No refunds will be given thereafter except in the event of extenuating circumstances such as hospitalization or death. Requests for registration cancellation must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Substitute attendees will be permitted. Substitution requests must be in writing via email to [email protected] no later than 1 day prior to the event start.

Nonpayment Policy

I understand that full payment of event registration fees is required before the start of the event. If full payment has not been remitted on or before October 18, 2021 the meeting details will not be sent to the registered attendee(s). Once payment has been received, meeting details will be released, but this may not be in time for the first session. Technical Failure Policy

It is the responsibility of the registrant to confirm system requirements and test their computers prior to the start of each virtual session. If a technical failure is the fault of the service provider and the session is not able to be broadcast as planned, AAHSL reserves the right to reschedule the event. If an attendee experiences a technical failure on their end, AAHSL is not responsible for refunding the participant.

Recording Release

I understand that each virtual session may be recorded, including chat transcripts. Video recorded during the event will be provided to all registrants, and may be used for promotional purposes, advertising, and other print and online materials at the sole discretion of AAHSL. All registered attendees must consent to this if they plan to attend the live sessions. If they do not wish to be recorded for the above-stated purposes, they may view the recording, which will be provided within three weeks after the conclusion of the meeting.

Code of Conduct

AAHSL has established an Event Code of Conduct to serve as a guideline for the professional conduct of anyone attending or participating in an AAHSL Event, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. We expect you to follow this Code so that you and other participants can enjoy the Event responsibly and with respect for the rights of others
